    <content type="html">&lt;img src="https://i.redd.it/0nm8j3pr51r91.jpg" width="300" height="169" alt="" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;there is something very calming and comforting about the original ps3 XMB interface. maybe it's just because i saw it so many times when i was younger, but i deeply love and miss when older technology cared about its aesthetic 'vibe' it gave off to users-- the ps3 was a device its owner would likely use often, so the menu was designed to have an unobtrusive, inviting and calming look. i like to describe this kind of care in the aesthetic as turning the console into a 'home' or a 'place' of sorts, but it may be different to others than it is to me. it just seems like a nice screen to watch for a while, or fall asleep to, that i wish i could step into myself if only to see what it feels like&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img src="https://www.dreamwidth.org/tools/commentcount?user=segacds&amp;ditemid=1860" width="30" height="12" alt="comment count unavailable" style="vertical-align: middle;"/&gt; comments</content>
